Reality Bites

The world that I know disintegrates into ashes
As my eye cast upon a jungle so ferocious
This innocence is a force that shall be my weakness
To survive this rat race will be my focus.

Attaining wealth and career is a skill to master
Must assert through rigors of hard work and sacrifice
And in the wisdom that lies in one's character
For to dream only will be a fool's paradise.
