Heartbreaker
She walks in colossal beauty
The heavens bow at her feet
She's a gem that exudes so brightly
A Venus so tempting as sin.
She's the tempest of an ebbing tide
Drowning, gasping, you're swept
A beast she preys and never satisfied
Devouring your heart, leaving you spent.
When sense arise, she's gone like dust
A thief in the night, she swiftly steals
Beware of her whose trap is her lust
Heartbreaker, heartbreaker, that's what she is.
One of my old poems created during my college years
